What We Do

Sonata Finance Private Limited (the Company), was incorporated on 06th April, 1995 with its registered office at Lucknow. The objective of the company is to facilitate in financial inclusion and economic empowerment of women and underprivileged sections of the society. The company has an extensive branch network in the rural/semi-urban areas spread across 10 states of the country through which the company is distributing small ticket size loans to the borrowers.

During FY 2023-24, the company was acquired by Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited (the Bank) and has been functioning as a wholly- owned subsidiary of the Bank w-e-f 28th March 2024.
